English translation below

In acelasi timp, in regiunea EMEA durata medie in care un executiv ramane in companie este de sapte ani.

In studiu se mai arata ca aceasta perioada variaza si in functie de industrie. De exemplu, in domeniul serviciilor profesionale executivii raman cea mai lunga perioada de timp (8,1 ani) si mai putin in industria farmaceutica (5,7 ani) si domeniul bunurilor de larg consum (6,1 ani).

"Retentia angajatilor este o preocupare a companiilor din intreaga lume, iar in Bucuresti, observam etapele de inceput in schimbarea mentalitatii corporatiste in acest domeniu. In contextul in care liderii de maine tind sa isi schimbe mai des locurile de munca fata de generatiile anterioare, si asteptarile privind durata de ramanere in companie a unui executiv se modifica", a remarcat Manolescu.

Femei versus barbati

Astfel, genul este important in special in randul companiilor zona EMEA (62%), in timp ce mai putine companii din regiunea Asia-Pacific pun accept pe acest aspect (48%).

In prezent, echipele de executie sunt formate in general din barbati (75%) si mult mai putine femei (25%).

Cu toate acestea, patru din 10 companii estimeaza o crestere a numarului de femei in functii de executie in urmatorii trei ani.

Also, the study shows that organizations are increasingly looking to form teams of execution that includes external candidates, not just people already in the company. The average team consists of internal candidates (45%), external candidates (38%) and another division of the parent company (17%).

"Companies around the world are investing more and more in developing internal leadership positions and in Bucharest, things are the same. Organization do a good job in preparing employees for management and efficient integration of external talent "said Radu Manolescu.

In general, companies with fewer than 500 employees in the areas of energy, utilities and financial services, are those who choose to continue to rely more on employees of the company than the external supply.

Taking into consideration that tomorrow's leaders tend to change jobs more frequently compared to previous generations, and expectations regarding length of stay in the company of an executive change, "noted Manolescu.
